Change management refers to a set of tools, procedures, and processes that companies use to align their employees with the company's current goals, with the goal of attaining the desired results and ensuring that the business runs smoothly.

Importance of Change in Organisation

For businesses to succeed and expand, they must undergo organisational change and transformation. Change management is responsible for the successful adoption and implementation of change in the workplace. It enables employees to comprehend the shift, commit to it, and operate efficiently during it. Company transitions can be rough and costly in terms of both time and resources if appropriate organisational change management is not implemented. They can also lead to employee demotivation and lack in development of competent skills. In the end, a lack of competent change management might lead to the failure of the organisation. Hence, change in organisation is must.
